Virtual staging is the process by which visual projections of the future state of a building are created by software. It is generally used by architects and property developers to show the intent of a project and by estate agents to portray the potential of an empty building. All aspects of the space can be addressed by virtually adding or changing features such as flooring, wallcovering, fittings and furniture.
Virtual Staging – 3d models
This process starts by creating a 3d scan of an existing space. The scan is then imported into CAD tools and a 3d model is built of the future space incorporating any architectural changes to the space. The space is then furnished according to specifications to allow developers to share their vision with the click of their mouse. Users can walk through the future space to understand the intent of the project.
